Job summary

Arcadis Australia seeks a Project Director to lead large, multi-disciplinary teams delivering major civil infrastructure projects. You will manage client relationships, project programmes, and commercial performance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Port experience is advantageous; you bring a chartered engineering credential with ~20+ years in infrastructure. Strong stakeholder engagement and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent.
• Approximately 20+ years of industry experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide peak leadership to a large multi-discipline technical team delivering design & engineering services for major civil infrastructure projects.
• Be the ultimate interface between the Project Team and the Client with senior client relationship management.
• Develop and manage the Project Programme and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
• Ensure effective financial and project management controls, monitoring and forecasting.
• Direct the assessment, selection and management of suppliers, sub‑consultants and contractors.
• Ensure health, safety, wellbeing and professional development of team members.
