Fleetwood Australia is seeking a Senior Estimator to join the Victorian Design & Estimating team, supporting modular construction across education, health, housing, defence and government sectors. You will prepare accurate, commercially sound estimates and tenders, and provide leadership to the estimating team.

This role offers opportunities to influence project strategy and bid success on high-value, complex projects, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration across Design, Manufacturing

Formación

• Five+ years of estimating experience in construction, manufacturing, modular construction or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building trades and project delivery.
• Ability to interpret architectural, engineering and tender documentation and complete detailed take-offs.

Responsabilidades

• Review tender documentation and prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates and first-principles pricing.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, cost drivers and pricing impacts from design or delivery changes.
• Prepare RFQs and scopes of work; source, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Collaborate with Design, Sales, Manufacturing and Project Delivery teams; provide pre- and post-contract cost support.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to clarify project requirements.
• Maintain estimating databases, market pricing and cost benchmarks.
• Peer review estimates and mentor estimators; support continuous improvement.
• Comply with document control, reporting and quality requirements.
