Job summary

Peter Jacob Recruitment Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Estimator to drive major commercial project tenders. You will work with Estimating Manager and delivery teams to craft competitive, commercially sound submissions.

The role requires extensive experience in tenders over $80M, advanced estimating software skills (Buildsoft/Cubit) and a proven ability to manage complex bids and deadlines. A tertiary qualification in Construction Management or QS is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience tendering large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen for bids and pricing.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for major commercial projects across public/private sectors.
• Review tender documents and develop bid strategies with detailed quantity take-offs.
• Manage subcontractor tender packages, assess pricing and negotiate outcomes.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.
• Oversee tender process through to final submission and client negotiations.
