Job summary

Morson Edge in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimates and tenders for complex fitout and commercial projects. You will review drawings, prepare BOQs and cost plans, and drive competitive pricing and value engineering.

Collaborating with pre-construction and delivery teams, you will identify risks and opportunities, obtain subcontractor pricing, and deliver robust tender documentation for major bids.

Qualifications

• Senior estimator with experience at a reputable head contractor.
• Experience in fitout, refurbishment and/or commercial construction.
• Experience estimating complex, large-scale commercial projects.
• Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related qualification.
• Proficiency in CostX, Cubit or similar estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimates and tenders from initial review through to submission
• Prepare detailed BOQs, cost plans, scopes and tender documentation
• Review drawings and identify tender risks and opportunities
• Obtain and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop competitive pricing and value engineering solutions
• Collaborate with pre-construction and delivery teams on major bids
