Michael Page is seeking a Senior Estimator - Substations for a leading Australian infrastructure contractor. The role focuses on leading cost estimates, tender submissions and commercial reviews for HV substations, transmission and utilities projects.

The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced analytical capabilities, experience with estimating software, and the ability to manage multiple tenders to strict deadlines in a safety-focused environment.

Job Description

• Lead detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for HV substation and utility projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to develop accurate pricing.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Estimator - Substations' should have:

• Practical understanding of construction delivery requirements and cost drivers for substation projects.Proven experience as a Senior Estimator, Lead Estimator or Estimating Manager.
• Strong background in substations, transmission, utilities or major infrastructure.
• Advanced commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex drawings and tender documentation.
• Experience using estimating software and advanced Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously.
• Construction Management, Engineering or Trade qualifications highly regarded.
