Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is working with an established EPC contractor delivering HV infrastructure projects across Australia. The Estimator will prepare estimates for tenders and develop cost estimates for substations, transmission lines and HV works.

Location is Sydney with flexible arrangements and on-site office parking. The role requires strong HV estimating experience, ability to interpret electrical drawings and a track record with EPC or electrical contractor environments.

Qualifications

• HV electrical infrastructure estimating experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes and tender docs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and pricing for HV infrastructure tenders.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes and tender documentation.
• Develop material, labour, equipment and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement and project teams.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify commercial and technical risks within tenders.
• Support tender submissions, clarifications and handover to delivery teams.

We are working with an established EPC contractor delivering HV infrastructure projects across Australia, with a strong pipeline across substations, transmission and broader power infrastructure.

This role requires someone with genuine HV electrical infrastructure experience who understands the technical scope behind the estimate, particularly across substations and/or transmission projects.

• Prepare estimates and pricing for HV infrastructure tenders

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working for an EPC contractor, electrical contractor or similar project environment
