Job summary

Duo QS is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator for our Homebush, NSW projects. This onsite role focuses on accurate cost estimation for high-end residential builds and tender management across multiple live projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years in residential estimating, a relevant degree, and strong proficiency with QS tools like CostX, Cubit Build, Bluebeam and AutoCAD. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in residential estimating/quantity surveying.
• Experience with cost planning and tendering construction projects across multiple markets.

About the Role

Our pipeline of work means that we are hiring an experienced Senior Estimator who will be responsible for construction building cost estimation.

As a Senior Estimator at DUOQS, you will be expected to ensure that all cost deliverables for our projects are complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with the various tendering project conditions.

We specialise in high-end residential projects and are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with tender documentation, preparing BOQ's from start to finish of a construction building project with efficient turnaround times.
• Supporting live projects with cost planning services from the pre-construction phase, through to progress and management.
• Ability to produce tenders and manage multiple tenders at any given time.

About You:

The right candidate will be self-driven and resourceful, possessing the confidence and experience required to solve problems and make decisions in a timely fashion. Whether working on one or multiple projects at any given time.

Candidate requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential Estimating/Quantity Surveying.
• Experience and success in cost planning and tendering construction projects across multiple market sectors
• Familiarity with Australian construction delivery and construction models, contracts
• Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools (such as Cubit Build soft, CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD,) or similar.
• Sound negotiation and time management skills
