Job summary

Randstad partner with a National Specialist Builder to recruit a Senior Estimator for high-value tenders and complex projects across Australia. Richmond-based role driving commercial success and ensuring accuracy within the estimating team.

You will mentor junior members, manage tenders end-to-end, and push value-engineering to optimise outcomes while maintaining profitability. Flexible work options may be considered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator.
• Commercial and Retail project experience is essential.
• Proficiency with Cubit, Cubit Select and Buildsoft required.
• Tertiary degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, competitive construction cost estimates independently.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.

The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you will serve as a pivotal technical leader within the estimating department, driving commercial success and championing accuracy across high-value tenders.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate, competitive, and high-quality construction cost estimates independently.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and local building regulations.


• Skills: Advanced analytical, mathematical, negotiation, and communication skills.
