Talent in Sydney seeks an experienced ESG Consultant to strengthen climate and sustainability reporting, working closely with the CFO and finance team to turn data into audit-ready disclosures. The role shapes reporting processes, improves data quality, and links climate risks to financial planning.

Involves coordinating with Finance, Sustainability, Risk, Data and Procurement to prepare for Australian mandatory climate reporting, including AASB S2.

Qualifications

• Experience in ESG, sustainability or climate reporting with finance exposure.
• Knowledge of Australian climate reporting requirements (AASB S2/IFRS S2).
• Experience preparing reporting for audit or external assurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess reporting readiness, identify data/system gaps, governance and controls.
• Build sustainability reporting processes with clear ownership and audit trails.
• Improve Scope 1-3 emissions reporting including supplier data.
