Job summary

The G’day Group is seeking an experienced Senior ESG Analyst to lead technical ESG expertise and drive sustainability reporting and performance. You will partner with senior governance and risk leads to establish ESG priorities, governance and reporting across the organisation.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external specialists on regulatory requirements and industry best practice, shaping decarbonisation and risk-mitigation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or related field with 3+ years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of ISSB, AASB S2, GRI and TCFD; familiarity with Australian sustainability reporting.
• Experience in ESG reporting, GHG inventories, carbon accounting and assurance processes.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and data interpretation with ability to translate data into business recommendations.
• Understanding of ESG risk, governance and integration into operations; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report Net Zero strategy and decarbonisation roadmap, emissions targets and initiatives.
• Prepare ESG and climate reporting for Board, committees, investors, customers, ratings agencies and auditors.
• Manage collection, validation, analysis and reporting of ESG and GHG data with internal controls.
• Conduct climate and sustainability analysis, scenario modelling and IRR/NPV/payback calculations.
• Act as internal ESG subject-matter expert and engage external specialists when needed.
