Job summary

EY Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in Perth or Sydney. You’ll work across industries helping clients manage climate risk, sustainability reporting and decarbonisation initiatives.

The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to shape advisory solutions, with exposure to leading ESG frameworks and non-financial assurance. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and develop expertise in emissions data and regulatory

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, economics or accounting.
• Experience in climate change services (professional services, industry or government).
• Experience in financial or non-financial audit (professional services, industry or government).
• Ability to work independently across multiple engagements with overlapping deadlines.
• Agility to learn and adapt on the job, ask the right questions and strive for the best solutions.
• Experience in reporting and/or assurance of greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across industries, helping organisations manage and report on climate risks and impacts.
• Assurance of non-financial reporting, including emissions and energy reporting.
• Contribute to strategy, methodologies, and tools to navigate regulatory environments and stakeholder expectations.
• Assist clients to develop and implement sustainability strategies, targets, and plans.
• Analyse effects of water, air quality and climate change to formulate management objectives.
