Mater Newstead is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join our high-performing HR team. You will partner with leaders across the organisation to navigate complex employee relations matters, provide expert advice, and shape workplace strategies that drive meaningful outcomes.

As a senior member of the ER team, you’ll guide on a broad range of workplace relations matters, work with HR Business Partners, and help manage sensitive issues while building capability in leaders across the

• Experience advising on employee and industrial relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, awards, and ER frameworks.
• Excellent communication, coaching, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters.
• Manage complex cases including performance, grievances, disciplinary matters, complaints, and ill or injured worker cases.
• Coach and support leaders through challenging people situations.
• Conduct and support workplace investigations and recommend practical solutions.
• Interpret awards, enterprise agreements, legislation, and policies.
• Develop and deliver ER training programs.
• Contribute to HR projects, policy development, reporting and improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation as a trusted advisor.
