EHS Support is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join the Victoria Contaminated Sites team. The role involves providing technical oversight, strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges on multi-million-dollar projects.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary degree in Environmental Science/Engineering or related fields, 8+ years of consulting experience in contaminated land, groundwater, and remediation, plus strong communication and

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology.
• 8+ years’ consulting experience in contaminated land and groundwater and remediation projects.
• Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations.
• Knowledge of NEPM and health & safety best practice principles.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing PSI and DSI Assessment Reports, site management plans and remediation action plans.
• Initiation, planning, leading and executing complex contaminated land/waste projects, including soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater and groundwater assessments.
• Providing mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land and groundwater team.
• Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems.

About the Role:

Join us to work on multi-million-dollar career defining projects.We are currently seeking a Senior EnvironmentalConsultant, to join ourVICContaminatedSitesTeam to assist with some of Australia's of largest and most complex industrial facilities closures.

The role will involve providing technical oversight and strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges.

The successful candidate will need:

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology
• 8+ years’consultingexperiencein contaminated landand groundwaterand remediation projects.
• Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations
• Experience inlandfillassessmentsand compliance(desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater.
• Strong communication, well developedreport writing, and project management skills.
• A focus on safety and environmental responsibility.
• Knowledge of NEPM as well as health & safety best practice principles
• Strong knowledge ofVICenvironmental legislation
• The candidate must have a great eye for detail, a sensepracticality regardinglegislative and technical interpretation, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions.
