The role includes significant fieldwork with soil and groundwater sampling, site inspections, and interpretation of laboratory data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Earth Science or Geology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Hands-on approach and ability to work in field.
• Strong teamwork and time management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of projects including field investigations, data management and technical reporting for contaminated site assessments
• Providing field and office based technical input on environmental assessment and remediation projects
• Interpretation and analysis of laboratory and field data, and contributes to the preparation and review of factual and detailed technical reports to be reviewed by more senior consultants/scientists
• Perform soil sampling and waste soil classification in accordance with EPA Guidelines
• Collect field samples and perform field logging of soil
• Develop an understanding and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Codes and Environmental Regulations and Guidelines
• Work as part of a team to support achievement of company objectives, targets and project goals

About you
