EHS Support is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join the VIC Contaminated Sites team and lead multi-million-dollar projects. The role offers strategic oversight, client engagement, and hands-on site work across Australia’s largest facilities.

You will mentor junior staff, manage investigations and reporting, and help shape regional growth while delivering pragmatic, compliant solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology.
• 8+ years’ consulting experience in contaminated land, groundwater, and remediation projects.
• Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to various environmental and engineering situations.
• Experience in inland landfill assessments and compliance (desirable).
• Demonstrated site supervision and management of investigations and sampling methods.
• Strong report writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong safety and environmental responsibility focus.
• Knowledge of NEPM and health & safety best practices.
• Strong knowledge of VIC environmental legislation.
• Attention to detail and pragmatic interpretation of legislation and technical data.

• Undertake preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments and produce PSI/DSI reports and remediation plans.
• Initiate, plan, lead and execute complex contaminated land and waste projects (soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater, groundwater).
• Provide mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land and groundwater team.
• Engage with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative, pragmatic solutions.

About the Role

Join us to work on multi-million-dollar career defining projects.We are currently seeking a Senior EnvironmentalConsultant, to join ourVICContaminatedSitesTeam to assist with some of Australia's of largest and most complex industrial facilities closures.

The role will involve providing technical oversight and strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges.

The successful candidate will need

• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology
• 8+ years’consultingexperiencein contaminated landand groundwaterand remediation projects.
• Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations
• Experience inlandfillassessmentsand compliance(desirable but not essential)
• Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater.
• Strong communication, well developedreport writing, and project management skills.
• A focus on safety and environmental responsibility.

• Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems
