    • Preliminary and detailed site investigations

    • Remediation action plans and validation reports
    • Environmental management plans

  • Lead the technical delivery and project execution of environmental assessment, compliance, remediation and environmental management projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and specialist service providers during field investigations and remediation works.
  • Engage directly with clients, regulators, contractors and other stakeholders to support project delivery and resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to proposal preparation, scope development and cost estimation for new opportunities.
  • Support the development of junior and intermediate staff through technical guidance, coaching and project leadership.
  • Contribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the business.
Position Requirements

This opportunity is suited to a motivated and adaptable environmental professional who combines strong technical capability with project leadership and client management skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong technical knowledge of contaminated land assessment, remediation and environmental management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to develop practical and defensible solutions to complex environmental challenges.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and demonstrated experience preparing high-quality technical reports and client deliverables.
  • Strong verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently while providing leadership and direction within collaborative project teams.
  • Sound professional judgement and a practical approach to balancing technical, regulatory and commercial considerations.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance.
Qualifications for this role include
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Soil Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
