Job summary

ASX Limited in Australia is seeking an experienced Release Manager to lead planning, scheduling, testing and deployment across environments for the CHESS project and beyond.

You will coordinate with Architecture, Information Security, Finance and Risk, manage interdependencies, drive improvements and maintain environment readiness from development to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in planning, scheduling, testing and deploying software releases.
• Experience leading teams across CHESS or similar project portfolios.
• Knowledge of release management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Experience with environments from on-prem to cloud (AWS).
• Experience with SDLC, continuous delivery/CI/CD practices, version control and dependency management.
• Cross-functional agile delivery experience and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Communicate release scope, schedules, status and risks.
• Plan and facilitate release and patching across environments.
• Manage interdependencies and ensure milestone adherence.
• Maintain environment consistency from testing to Production.
• Provide environment support and chair war rooms as needed.
• Conduct PIRs to address release quality issues.
• Define change control processes and readiness criteria.
• Drive continuous improvement in release and environment processes.
• Coordinate release packaging across the CHESS project.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams for packaging.
