Job summary

ASX is seeking an experienced Environment and Release Manager to own the end-to-end environment strategy for the ASX 24 project, coordinating testing environments and production-like environments across multiple workstreams.

You will lead release planning, governance, and risk management in a highly regulated financial technology setting, partnering with vendors, delivery teams and senior stakeholders to ensure smooth go-lives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in Environment/Release/Program/Test Management.
• Experience across large-scale technology transformations.
• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and release processes.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams.
• Risk management and issue resolution capability.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, release automation and environment orchestration.
• Experience in regulated financial environments including exchange technology.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end environment strategy for the ASX 24 project.
• Coordinate provisioning, availability, maintenance, and support of environments.
• Manage environment schedules and dependencies across workstreams.
• Ensure environments support testing milestones and readiness.
• Monitor environment health and escalate risks as required.
• Develop and maintain integrated release calendars with vendors and teams.
• Coordinate release planning, deployments, rollback procedures, and readiness reviews.
• Governance, approvals, and change processes for releases.
• Facilitate release rehearsals and implementation readiness activities.
• Ensure releases are controlled, auditable, and low-risk.
• Collaborate with Testing Lead to meet testing requirements and readiness.
• Coordinate customer access, onboarding, and testing support with stakeholders.
• Provide regular status reporting on readiness and progress.
• Lead go-live planning, cutover preparation, and governance.
• Contribute to contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain environment and release governance artefacts.
