Job summary

Western Sydney University seeks a strategic Enterprise Architect to lead enterprise-wide solutions across the corporate systems landscape. You will steer architecture across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments, modernising legacy systems and enabling secure data integration with internal and external services.

You will establish standards, governance and roadmaps, collaborating with executives, IT teams and vendors to guide investments while embedding cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Proven enterprise architecture, systems integration and solution design experience within a complex organisation.
• Experience implementing or integrating ERP, HRIS, payroll, procurement or finance platforms.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or comparable architecture frameworks, together with tools such as ArchiMate, Sparx EA or Lucidchart.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience influencing senior decision-makers on complex technical matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of complex solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
• Establish architectural standards, roadmaps and governance across the full solution lifecycle.
• Partner with business leaders, technical teams and vendors to guide investment decisions and embed security, privacy and sustainability.
