Job summary

Huawei Australia is seeking a Senior Network Solution Engineer to design enterprise network solutions and provide technical leadership across Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN and data centre networking. You will engage customers, lead discovery workshops and support pre‑sales activities to translate business needs into robust technical architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years enterprise networking experience including design and pre-sales/consulting.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN and network security.
• Certs such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP or HCIP/HCIE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end enterprise network solutions covering Wi‑Fi, SD‑WAN, data centre networking, security, routing and switching.
• Prepare high-level and low-level designs, BoMs and migration plans to meet requirements.
• Lead discovery workshops to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and PoCs for technical and executive audiences.
• Prepare responses to RFPs/RFIs and assist with pricing, licensing and risk assessment.
• Provide training and support to channel partners for joint engagements.
• Stay informed on enterprise networking trends and competitors to strengthen recommendations.
• Collaborate with sales, product and R&D to ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.
