Job summary

Whizdom is seeking an experienced Integration Architect in Sydney to lead end-to-end enterprise integration across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments. You will shape architecture, set best practices, and guide delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure integration solutions for a major enterprise client.

The role requires deep expertise in REST APIs, OpenAPI, API security, and event-driven architectures, with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering integration solutions in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience across cloud and hybrid integration architectures.
• Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI, API security, web services and messaging.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring integration developers.
• Experience in Agile delivery and architecture documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade integration architectures and solutions.
• Define integration strategies, standards, patterns, and best practices across initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration solutions.
• Provide architectural leadership for cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
• Guide selection and configuration of integration platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, project teams, and partners.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams.
• Ensure governance, security and compliance across initiatives.
