Job summary

Next Step Surveying is seeking a Senior Engineering / Project Surveyor to take ownership of engineering and project surveying capability on the Sunshine Coast. You will deliver projects, work directly with clients and support our survey team, with a path to build a team and lead this space within the company.

You will mentor surveyors, develop systems, and help grow the project portfolio while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high-quality results across civil infrastructure

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, Geomatics or similar.
• Strong engineering and construction surveying experience.
• Experience with civil infrastructure or land development projects.
• Proficient with 12d and Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and construction surveying projects.
• Perform civil infrastructure and land development surveys.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks.
• Plan project resources and survey activities.
• Mentor Surveyors and Survey Technicians.
