Job summary

Westernport Water seeks a Senior Engineer Developments to lead water, wastewater and recycled water asset projects tied to land development. The role focuses on engineering design, project management, and contract oversight across greenfield and brownfield sites.

Seven years in water/wastewater with land development experience are highly valued. The successful candidate will guide technical decision-making, engage with stakeholders, ensure compliance, and drive safe, timely project delivery

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in engineering leading to Engineers Australia admission.
• Extensive experience in land development and subdivisions.
• Experience in engineering design and construction with contract management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Current Victoria driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead Development Services for greenfield and brownfield developments delivering water and wastewater projects.
• Develop and review short-, medium-, and long-term servicing plans.
• Provide technical leadership on design, feasibility, tendering and project delivery.
• Build relationships with developers, customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee progress reporting, technical communications to Management, Board, and regulators.
• Promote safety, environmental compliance and asset management.
