Job summary

Glencore’s Ravensworth Operations in the Hunter Valley NSW seeks an experienced Senior Engineer, Technical Services, reporting to the Technical Services Manager, to lead safety, quality and continuous improvement across geotechnical design, data capture and coal flow processes.

You will coordinate geotechnical design, monitoring, modelling and compliance; oversee geological data capture and coal flow integration; and work closely with a small team to deliver reliable, sustainable mine

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills with a proactive safety mindset.
Proactive attitude to safety and strong problem-solving skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications (mining, geotechnical, geological, civil or survey).
5 yrs experience in an open-cut coal environment with exposure to Geotechnical and/or Geological process such as data capture, modelling, analysis, design, scheduling, compliance and coal recovery.
Prior use of Vulcan, Deswik, and MinVu systems is preferred.
