Job summary

Glencore is seeking a site-based engineer to analyse life-of-mine water and tailings volumes, design and construct infrastructure, and manage the integrated water and tailings system. You will liaise with site personnel and drive projects from concept through to execution while ensuring compliance with environmental consents.

Qualifications

• Engineering discipline related to water management.
• CHPP background familiar with water and tailings.
• Familiar with project management processes and delivering projects from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Analyse life-of-mine water and tailings volumes.
• Implement strategies to maximise efficient use of water and tailings assets.
• Design and construct new infrastructure to meet business needs.
• Manage and maintain existing infrastructure.
• Liaise with site personnel to maximise benefits of integrated water and tailings system within environmental consents.
