Reporting to the Superintendent Control Systems, this role is responsible for diagnosing complex problems, developing and implementing robust technical solutions, improving control system performance, and ensuring the long-term reliability and maintainability of critical operational systems.
The successful candidate will be a highly capable, hands-on engineer with deep expertise in PLC, SCADA, industrial communications, and control system architecture. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex problems, developing and implementing robust technical solutions, improving control system performance, and ensuring the long-term reliability and maintainability of critical operational systems.
This role requires an individual who can confidently take advanced concepts from idea through design, coding, testing, commissioning, and operational support. Equally important is the ability to clearly document, communicate, and justify technical decisions while providing mentorship and guidance to engineers, technicians, and operational personnel.
