Job summary

Domain, part of CoStar Group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integration & Automation Squad in Sydney. You will build AI-powered tools and scalable, cloud-native solutions using C#, .NET and TypeScript, connecting systems and enabling AI-driven experiences across the business.

You’ll design and implement real-time integrations, mentor peers, and contribute to long-term platform strategy while collaborating with product and design teams to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
• Expertise with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of cloud-native design patterns and software architecture.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable and maintainable solutions.
• Knowledge of modern testing practices including TDD, BDD and shift-left testing.
• A security-first mindset and secure coding practices.
• Experience in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Mentoring engineers and helping teams grow.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered tools, automations and platform capabilities used across Domain.
• Design, develop and support scalable software solutions from concept through to production.
• Create real-time integrations using APIs, messaging and event-driven architecture.
• Build and maintain cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
• Solve complex technical challenges across a large and evolving technology landscape.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver customer value.
• Drive code quality, security, performance and engineering best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Influence architecture, technical standards and long-term platform strategy.
