Job summary

Westpac Bank is seeking a senior AI services contributor to own complex workstreams and major features across software, data, AI, integration and operations. You will turn solution direction into tested, production-ready products while mentoring engineers and strengthening delivery patterns.

The role focuses on full-stack AI solutions, secure contracts across data and services, and reliable operation, with emphasis on design reviews and risk management.

• Own a complex workstream or major feature set from detailed design through release, operation and production support.
• Build AI-powered full-stack solutions across software, data, AI, integration and user experience.
• Create reliable contracts across data, services, AI components, user journeys and enterprise systems.
• Engineer safe model and agent behaviour through access controls, approved tools, evaluation, monitoring and fallback.
• Own versioning, compatibility, deployment, rollback, recovery, diagnostics and incident support.
• Review designs and code, mentor engineers and identify material technical, delivery, data, model and operational risks early.
