Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a qualified employment lawyer to provide specialist advice across a broad range of workplace matters. You will work with the Employee Relations team to manage complex employee relations issues and support operational leaders in navigating sensitive workplace matters.

You will handle investigations, disciplinary processes, grievances and performance management, advising on legislation and enterprise agreements while developing practical, commercially-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with employment law expertise.
• Experience in workplace investigations, grievances and performance matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex employee relations matters from initial escalation to resolution.
• Conduct impartial workplace investigations into misconduct, bullying, grievances and sensitive issues.
• Advise on employment legislation, enterprise agreements, policies and procedural fairness.
