Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Senior Consultant, ER Strategy and Projects to drive strategic employee relations initiatives across the organisation. You will advise senior leaders on industrial relations, awards compliance, and payroll governance, while shaping employment contracts and policy interpretation.

The role involves cross-location collaboration (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane or Bendigo) in a hybrid work model with executive-level stakeholder engagement and a strong focus on risk

Qualifications

• Strong risk and compliance focus with strategic, commercial guidance.
• Desirable tertiary qualification in Industrial/Employee Relations or Law.
• Proven senior-level performance in industrial/employee relations or HR with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic ER advice on complex matters and project delivery.
• Advise on industrial instruments, EBAs and modern awards, and payroll governance matters.
• Draft employment contracts and templates; interpret policies and procedures.
• Support acquisitions, divestments, outsourcing and major workplace change.
• Engage with unions and ensure alignment with Code of Conduct and policy frameworks.
