Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Brisbane seeks an Advanced Project Engineer to lead delivery of electronic security projects. You will coordinate input from engineering, service teams and customer site staff, driving engineering outputs and budgets while guiding subcontractors when required.

Strong technical direction, planning and compliance with Australian and international standards are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in electronic security, with independence

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in electronic security.
Expertise in electronic security systems engineering (hardware and software).
Familiar with high-end security applications such as CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection.
Registered or pursuing professional engineer in QLD is ideal.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering delivery for projects as the primary local contact.
Coordinate input from internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, Service, customer site).
Manage delivery of engineering outputs, including subcontractor oversight when needed.
Provide technical direction, planning, scheduling and quality assurance.
Ensure designs meet requirements and adhere to Australia and international standards.
Maintain health and safety standards across the project team.
