Job summary

IGT in Australia’s South Australia region is seeking a hands-on repair technician to inspect, test, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment. You will evaluate returned gear for repair, refurbishment, warranty, or disposal, and document refurbishments before release.

You’ll also load software on spare parts, manage inventory, and support warranty processes while upholding safety standards and training teammates as needed.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with company products and related manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, diagnose, and repair equipment down to the component level.
• Inspect returned equipment and determine whether it should be repaired, refurbished, scrapped, or considered for warranty.
• Test and document refurbished parts and equipment before release.
• Load software onto spare parts and equipment as required.
• Track parts and inventory, and support returns and warranty processes.
• Follow established procedures and safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Work with cross-functional teams and assist with training less experienced team members when needed.
