Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Resources + Industry team in either Adelaide or Perth. You will enhance local electrical capabilities, up-skill the team, and work on mining, industrial and civil infrastructure projects.

You will lead electrical components across the project lifecycle, collaborate with diverse engineers, and mentor junior staff to grow team capability while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
• Proven experience in mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
• Exposure to HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.
• Proficient in producing engineering documentation such as technical specifications, datasheets, reports and scope of works.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers across resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings.
• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies.
• Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers and grow the team.
