Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide or Perth office. You will strengthen local electrical capabilities, engage in mining and industrial projects, and up-skill the team through mentorship and collaboration.

Expect to lead design across feasibility to commissioning, advise on sustaining capital projects and decarbonisation studies, and contribute to a culture of safety, inclusion and innovation. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
• Experience in mining, local government or heavy industry sectors.
• Exposure to design and specification of industrial systems such as HV/LV distribution, controls and communications, safety systems and motor controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical components of projects across all phases of the project lifecycle including feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement assistance, site construction and commissioning.
• Collaborate with engineers across diverse projects within resources/industrial, transport, water and buildings.
• Provide technical advice on local sustaining capital projects and studies.
• Support industrial decarbonisation studies in ANZ.
• Mentor, develop and guide junior engineers while growing the team.
