Job summary

Planned Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead building services projects in data centres and mission-critical environments. You will design, engineer and manage electrical systems including power distribution, lighting and reticulation for diverse clients.

Based in Melbourne, you will collaborate with clients and stakeholders, contribute to project delivery from concept to handover, and mentor junior engineers within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary / Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in Consulting or Contracting.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical issues (Power, Lighting, Reticulation, Mission critical) in building services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• Revit or AutoCAD experience is useful.
• RBP / Chartered status is useful but not essential.

About the role We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who can deliver building services projects (Power & lighting, Mission Critical) within the local Construction industry. The role will see you involved in project engineering, design and project management duties on small, medium and large scale buildings & Data Centre projects and to deliver outcomes for a range of clients.

Skills and experience

• Relevant Tertiary / Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering
• 4 + years' experience as an Electrical Engineer working in Consulting or Contracting
• Ability to demonstrate a strong technical understanding and knowledge of electrical issues (Power, Lighting, Reticulation, Mission critical) in a building services environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability interact effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• Software Experience in Revit or AutoCAD useful
• Ability to show initiative and and problem solve
