Job summary

Intro Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a contractor-side role in Melbourne, working on major Building Services projects across commercial, health, education and high-rise sectors. The role offers involvement from design through to construction, with collaboration alongside project managers, site teams and clients.

You should have senior Building Services electrical experience, strong design/engineering background, and knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC.

Qualifications

• Senior Building Services electrical engineering experience
• Strong design and technical engineering background
• Experience across commercial building projects
• Knowledge of electrical services incl. power, lighting, essential services
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and NCC requirements
• Experience in electrical contractor, D&C environment or consultancy
• Interest in practical delivery and construction side
• Confident in communicating with clients, consultants and site teams
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Provide senior electrical engineering input across major Building Services projects
• Work across design development, documentation, coordination and project delivery
• Review consultant designs for practical and constructible solutions
• Assist with Design & Construct (D&C) projects from design through to construction
• Coordinate electrical services with other Building Services disciplines
• Review drawings, specs and technical documentation
• Provide technical support throughout construction and resolve issues
• Attend project meetings and provide engineering input to teams
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC and project specs
