Job summary

SAGE Automation, a Tetra Tech company and part of the SAGE Group, is Australia’s leading independent automation and control systems integrator based in Adelaide. We seek a Senior Electrical Design Drafter to design and draft electrical control schematics for projects meeting SAGE standards.

You will use AutoCAD Electrical to develop drawings, assemblies and equipment lists for PLC, Safety and Control Systems, from concept through customer stage, while ensuring safety and quality alignment with

Qualifications

Sound knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical for industrial electrical control systems.
Electrical qualifications and/or a degree in electronics/electrical engineering preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and produce drawings for PLC, Safety and Control Systems using AutoCAD Electrical.
Prepare drawings from concept to customer stage with attention to standards.
Create drawing sets for complex units, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Resolve issues while keeping stakeholders informed throughout projects.
Work independently to deliver on time and budget; assist with small project estimates.
Review specifications with Engineers and Project Managers for conformance.
Prepare schematics for complex projects and translate concepts into designs.
