WSP in Australia Brisbane is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Electrical to lead the technical delivery of complex Building Services projects and mentor our engineers. This senior role focuses on building trusted client relationships and guiding the Brisbane team to deliver high-profile infrastructure, defence, healthcare and commercial schemes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering Australian Building Services projects, ideally within a consulting engineering environment.
• A proven track record delivering large-scale and technically complex projects.
• Strong technical capability across electrical Building Services design.
• Experience across sectors such as infrastructure, defence, healthcare, commercial developments or data centres.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes, including AS/NZS 3000 and the NCC.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management capability.
• Demonstrated project management and commercial awareness.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A proactive approach to business development and identifying opportunities for growth.

Responsabilités

• Lead the electrical design and technical delivery of major and complex Building Services projects.
• Provide technical leadership across electrical power, lighting, communications, electronic security and associated building systems.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project delivery across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, authorities and key industry stakeholders.
• Take ownership of project outcomes across programme, budget, technical quality and commercial performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to engineers and other members of the Building Services team.
• Support proposals, tenders and strategic business development opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and develop new business.
• Collaborate with technical specialists across WSP's national and global network.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Brisbane and Queensland Building Services business.
