Job summary

WSP Brisbane Building Services is seeking a Senior Associate – Electrical to lead the design and technical delivery of complex building services projects, strengthening client relationships and supporting growth of the Brisbane team.

You’ll work across infrastructure, health, education and data centres, coordinating with architects and other disciplines, and mentoring engineers to drive quality, programme and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10+ years’ experience on building services projects in a consultancy.
• Strong client relationship management and project delivery skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor other engineers.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and technical delivery of complex building services projects.
• Deliver solutions across power systems, lighting, communications and security.
• Manage multiple projects across sectors, scales and delivery stages.
• Build and maintain client relationships with authorities and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
• Ensure outcomes meet quality, programme and commercial requirements.
• Support proposals, tenders and business development.
• Contribute to Brisbane team growth.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, Codes and industry requirements.
