Job summary

The University of Queensland is hiring a role within the Institute for Teaching and Learning Innovation to provide expert advice and training on technology for teaching delivery. The position involves delivering workshops, resources, and guidance to staff on e-learning tools and platforms to enhance online courses.

You will lead initiatives, promote innovative approaches, coordinate projects across teams, and build strong partnerships with teaching staff and service providers.

Qualifications

• A degree with at least 4 years relevant experience, preferably in education/learning design.
• Experience supporting academic staff using educational technologies to facilitate online courses.
• Strong IT knowledge and familiarity with a current learning management system.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional teaching-with-technology advice to support e-learning and online course delivery.
• Develop and deliver workshops and resources to support teaching staff in using e-learning tools.
• Identify and promote innovative e-learning functionality to enhance online teaching and student experience.
• Coordinate e-learning project activities across end-users, developers, support and training teams.
• Establish and maintain productive partnerships with teaching staff and service providers through consultation and feedback.
• Contribute to the design of tools and templates that streamline e-learning services and curriculum design.
