Job summary
Aecom is seeking a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineer to join our Water Infrastructure team in Brisbane. You will deliver high-quality EI&C solutions across planning, design, construction support and commissioning stages, while contributing to safety, reliability and performance of critical infrastructure.
You will lead technical work across local and potentially international projects, mentor junior engineers and help develop proposals.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience delivering EI&C projects in consulting, utility, contractor or infrastructure settings.
- Experience producing electrical design docs: calculations, reports, drawings, specs.
- Knowledge of control systems (PLCs, SCADA, RTUs, instrumentation, industrial networks).
- Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to quality, safety and client service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver EI&C engineering solutions for water infrastructure projects.
- Develop/review control system architectures including PLCs, SCADA, RTUs and networks.
- Support design, configuration, integration and commissioning of control systems.
- Lead small to medium projects or technical work packages.
- Perform technical reviews and QA to meet standards.
