Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Sr EHS Engineer to lead the development and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety training programs across our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on strategic program design, regulatory alignment, and data-driven effectiveness evaluation.

You will work with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to deliver impactful curricula, manage LMS content, and guide instructors. Travel to other SpaceX locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, operations, program/project management, training, or engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive EHS training curricula, materials, and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and risk reduction priorities.
• Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses to identify opportunities for content development.
• Provide guidance to instructors for effective training delivery and create educational materials, job aids, and resources for all employee levels.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and EHS teams to ensure training relevance and apply lessons learned from incidents and audits.
• Manage LMS content, tracking, and compliance documentation for EHS training completion and effectiveness.
• Partner with internal stakeholders or contractors to enhance training delivery methods and manage related projects to completion.
• Analyze training data to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement; develop dashboards and visualizations.
• Architect strategic training roadmaps supporting organizational priorities around risk reduction and EHS maturity.
• Identify training challenges, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate with leadership and diverse teams to review content and present findings.
