Westpac seeks an Electronic Fixed Income (eFI) Senior Engineer in Sydney to design, build and support electronic trading capabilities across Fixed Income markets. You will work with traders, quants and technology teams to deliver scalable, low-latency pricing, RFQ and execution services, and integrate with venues and data providers.

• Strong software engineering experience, preferably with Java or C++.
• Experience developing or supporting electronic trading systems.
• Solid understanding of Fixed Income markets and electronic trading workflows.
• Experience with FIX, market connectivity or financial messaging protocols.
• Linux and production engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and support electronic Fixed Income trading solutions.
• Build high-performance pricing and execution services.
• Develop RFQ, quoting, pricing and execution workflows.
• Integrate trading platforms with venues, data providers and internal systems.
• Develop and maintain connectivity using FIX and other protocols.
• Support ION-based trading components and integrations.
• Diagnose production issues in distributed, latency-sensitive environments.
• Contribute to platform modernisation and estate simplification.
