Job summary

Aeon Academy is seeking a keen, energetic Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood for a casual, part-time Before School Care role at our OSHC Service in Yarralumla, Canberra.

You will work 7.30am–9.30am, Monday to Thursday (with potential Friday shifts). You'll be supported by experienced Educators, with on-the-job training and a focus on caring for children within a dynamic team environment. WWVP card and Child Safety training are required.

Qualifications

Job description

We need a keen, energetic and compassionate Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood for a casual, part-time role for Before School Care in our OSHC Service. Applicants must like children and working with them in a busy and dynamic environment. You will need to be able to work independently but still be a part of a strong team. We require a person with integrity who has good communication skills and a willingness to learn about our Service and our guiding principles regarding the care of children.

We will provide training on the job for suitable applicants; you will be working with experienced Educators who will support you as you learn. This role is for our Yarralumla Service.

Shifts are 2 hours, starting at 7.30am until 9.30am currently Monday-Thursday but potentially Friday as well.

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy person to join our caring and team oriented workplace, you will need to provide two strong referees to attest to your good character and suitability to working with children.

You will need a Working With Vulnerable People card and be prepared to undertake mandatory Child Safety Training.
