Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support Department of Education ICT across Victorian schools. You will manage Hyper-V, Windows/Linux servers, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, MDM, and enterprise networks.

Role requires 5+ years in IT, TSSP or education-sector background preferred, and ability to work independently or in a team. Flexible contract, casual, or permanent options with strong remuneration.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience, with relevant senior-level ICT support background.
• Experience within the TSSP program or education sector is highly regarded.
• Ability to manage and maintain ICT infrastructure in schools and complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
• Administer school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support in large, tech-driven learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership and deliver ICT training when required.
