Job summary

Bytewize is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to provide technical support to Victorian schools through the TSSP. The role focuses on maintaining ICT infrastructure, supporting staff and students, and managing enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in senior IT roles, with TSSP or education-sector ICT experience and Australian work eligibility. Multiple employment types and flexible options are available.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industry experience, with senior-level IT support in education or equivalent.
• Experience within the TSSP program or education-sector ICT is highly desirable.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (citizen, PR, or permanent visa).

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
• Administer and support school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support in large, technology-driven learning environments.
• Collaborate with school leadership and deliver ICT professional development when required.
