Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Australia is seeking an experienced Edge Infrastructure Senior Engineering Lead / Architect to drive the architecture, deployment, automation, and modernization of edge infrastructure platforms across distributed environments.

You will lead design and implementation of enterprise-grade OpenShift and Kubernetes solutions, oversee platform upgrades, and develop Ansible automation for operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Platform Engineering or Solution Architecture.
• Hands-on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes design and implementation.
• Experience in Linux administration, networking, storage, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement enterprise-grade Edge Infrastructure solutions leveraging Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Lead platform engineering initiatives, including container platform deployment, upgrades, lifecycle management, and operational governance.
• Develop and maintain Ansible-based automation for provisioning, configuration management, patching, and platform operations.
• Define infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and best practices for edge computing environments.
• Collaborate with application, security, network, and cloud teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams throughout project delivery and operational support.
• Drive platform reliability, performance optimization, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
