Senior Ecommerce Manager

Join Talent Matters as a Senior Ecommerce Manager. This role combines strategy, operations and leadership to grow our ecommerce channel.

Base Pay Range

A$120,000 – A$140,000 per year.

Company Overview

Talent Matters is a well‑known women’s apparel and accessories brand based in the Inner West of Sydney with a large brick‑and‑mortar and online presence across Australia. Our office is located in St Peters and we offer 1 day of work‑from‑home per week, onsite parking and convenient proximity to the train station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Head of Digital to develop the ecommerce strategy aligned with company vision and business objectives.
  • Trade the site to drive online sales performance.
  • Manage the ecommerce calendar.
  • Identify and work with technology partners to implement new technologies and platforms that enhance the ecommerce experience.
  • Identify new market opportunities, vendors and potential areas for growth to expand the ecommerce footprint.
  • Coordinate with product development, supply chain and finance teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution and seamless operations.
  • Conduct in‑depth analysis of market trends, customer behaviours and the competitive landscape to inform roadmap initiatives.
  • Manage the user experience of the website.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to monitor financial performance and implement strategies that improve ROI, efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee and maintain SEO activities to optimise the channel, driving strategy and execution within the team.
  • Oversee and manage paid media budgets in collaboration with external agencies.
  • Develop and manage the affiliate marketing channel.
  • Lead, mentor and develop the ecommerce team, including one direct report – the Digital & Ecommerce Specialist.
Qualifications
  • 4–5 years of experience in a senior ecommerce role.
  • Proactive approach with a strong drive to independently manage projects.
  • Ability to deliver outcomes while fostering collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Shopify.
  • Experience in fashion retail or beauty/accessories highly regarded.
