Job summary

St Joseph's Catholic College, Katherine East, seeks an experienced ECEC Services Leader to oversee operations, regulatory compliance, and pedagogical excellence across its ELC and OSHC services. Commencing Nov 2026, the role reports to CENT leadership and aims to drive quality outcomes for children, families and the community.

The ECEC Services Leader will lead two services, ensure EYLF/MTOP/NQS alignment, and foster a safe, inclusive Catholic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and HLTAID012, with leadership experience.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills to improve practice and outcomes.
• Experience building a capable, engaged early childhood workforce.
• Working with Children clearance (NT Ochre Card), National Police Check, PRODA RA, and child safety training.
• Evidence-based improvement, innovation and change leadership.
• Experience with 1Place compliance platform and Xplor CCMS.
• Active membership of a Catholic Eucharistic community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor educational teams to ensure high-quality practice.
• Oversee budgets, enrolments, staff ratios and daily operations across both services.
• Drive EYLF V2, MTOP V2 and NQS implementation and maintain improvement systems.
• Build partnerships with families, school leadership and health professionals, upholding Catholic values.
