Job summary

Journey Early Learning Echuca West is seeking an Educational Leader to provide pedagogical leadership across the centre, strengthening curriculum and supporting educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

You will mentor staff, guide reflective practice, ensure EYLF and NQS alignment, and contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan while driving continuous improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Experience as Educational Leader, Lead Educator or similar pedagogical leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Experience mentoring, coaching and supporting Early Childhood Educators to strengthen practice.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
• Experience contributing to Quality Improvement Plans and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs and curriculum.
• Support educators to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Mentor and coach Early Childhood Educators to strengthen pedagogical practice and confidence.
• Guide educators through reflective practice, professional learning and continuous improvement.
• Ensure educational programs reflect EYLF, children’s interests and learning needs.
• Support the development and review of the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
• Contribute to centre quality outcomes and continuous improvement across the team.
• Foster collaboration and reflective practice within the Journey community.
